“I’d like to recommend it.”

The book you gave us as a gift was Lord of the Flies. It was actually my first time reading Lord of the Flies. They turned the original novel into a graphic novel, bringing it to life with illustrations, and I really enjoyed it. I read it without even taking a breath. The two books are similar in that they feature children in adolescence. Through The Catcher in the Rye, you can take an in-depth look at an individual’s story, while Lord of the Flies lets you take an in-depth look at society. So I’d recommend Lord of the Flies to see what kinds of stories protagonists of similar ages, living in the same era, unfold.
