Baek Ji-young was moved by another book by Gene Edwards, and naturally went on to read his best-known work, The Tale of Three Kings. She said, “Through the book, I came to realize that when you think of a person as a kind of ‘vessel,’ they can become a much finer vessel only after being broken once.”
