[An Interview with Kim Yeonkyung About Publishing the Book] “My motto, and the words I think of when things get hard, are ‘Let’s never lose sight of our original intentions.’ Whenever I become complacent or things aren’t going well, I always remind myself of that. 2017 was a special year for me. It was the year I received the most love from my fans, and also the year I entered my thirties. While working on this essay, I had the chance to look back on my life from childhood through my twenties and return to my original intentions. It also helped me make plans for the future, not only for the rest of my playing career but also for after retirement.
