The Pace of Life Is Andante Kim Hyung-seok, Storyberry, written by; Studio Audrey. Kim Hyung-seok. It is hard to explain just how deep, rich, and varied the feelings this name evokes in me are. Of course, at their deepest is my gratitude toward the teacher who taught me about music and life. But as I’ve grown older, I think that at some point a sense of solidarity and fellowship has also taken root—as people journeying together toward the end of life. What makes Hyung-seok hyung so special and precious to me is not the memories of our past together, but the conversations we share now as companions in life. The greatest strength of Kim Hyung-seok, the person rather than the musician, is his perceptiveness. In all my conversations with Hyung-seok hyung, I have never once felt frustrated. He has the perceptiveness to see through to and understand the essence of not only people, but everything around him. I think it comes from the combination of his naturally sharp mind and his character, which leads him to devote time and emotion to the people and things around him. This book lets you see again, feel again, and think again about the things around us that we miss and pass by, through the perceptive and discerning eyes of Kim Hyung-seok. When you read this book, you too will feel what I feel when I talk with Kim Hyung-seok. I hope you will immerse yourself in a conversation with Kim Hyung-seok.
